Online Appointment Booking
My Health Online appointment booking website is now open to book face-to-face GP appointments. If you have symptoms of COVID you MUST RING THE PRACTICE and our reception team will arrange for you to be seen in one of our isolation clinics.
If you haven't registered with My Health Online yet please send us a request form and we will set up an account for you - My Health Online Registration Form
We will update our website and telephone greeting message to advise when our patients can start booking through the site again.

Choose Pharmacy -Confidential Advice and Treatment for Common Ailments
Pharmacists can offer free confidential advice and treatment for a number of minor ailments. This service is being offered remotely via telephone consultation.
Hales Pharmacy is our local pharmacy and is located opposite the practice. They offer this service Monday - Friday, please ring the pharmacy for a telephone consultation.

If you have any of the following conditions, please ring a pharmacy first:
Nurse Lead Minor Illness Appointments
Patients must be aged 12 and above.
Not suitable for pregnant ladies or patients who are being treated by a GP for this current problem.
Pts with the following are suitable:
- Ear problems- All face to face
- Skin problems/rash- photo needed
- Sore throat – All face to face
- Urine/water infection/cystitis symptoms
- Female discharge symptom
- Contraception (emergency and routine)
Advice and Treatment for Eye problems
Please see an optician for any eye related problems. This examination is £FREE under the Welsh Eye Care Scheme (WECS).

Advice and Treatment for Dental Problems

Cardiff and Vale offers two separate ESCAPE Pain programmes:
- ESCAPE Pain for Backs – designed specifically to benefit people with persistent back pain providing you with the skills and techniques to self-manage your back pain.
- ESCAPE Pain for hips/knees – designed specifically to benefit people with hip and knee arthritis.

North Cluster First Contact Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Clinics
You can now see a physiotherapist in a GP practice setting.
If you are 18 years of age and over with Soft tissue injuries, arthritis, joint pain, ligament or muscle injury, spinal pain and sciatica, please advise our receptionists who will book you an appointment with the physiotherapist.
Typical conditions that the Physiotherapist can see are: low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, osteoarthritis joint pain, whiplash, ankle sprains, frozen shoulder, tendonitis, muscle tears, sports injuries, wrist/hand pain, groin strains, elbow pain, plantar fasciitis.
Mental Health Liaison Service
This service is for anyone experiencing anxiety, depression, bereavement, or isolated and not coping. The practitioners are currently offering advice by telephone consultation and will contact the practice directly for any GP actions required, like treatment or onward referral.
Please contact the practice and a receptionist will book you an appointment.

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.
To Order Prescriptions
To order prescriptions email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please make sure to submit your full details with the request, name, DOB and contact number, along with your nominated pharmacy. We'll then arrange for the prescription to go to this pharmacy for you.
Do you wear a hearing aid?
We have two portable induction loops at the practice, so please let us know if you wear a hearing aid and we'll use them during your visit.
