Nurses

Our Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, and carry out cervical smears.
Sister Susie Freeman

Susie is our Senior Practice Nurse and Respiratory Lead.  As our Nurse Manager she leads our nursing team in chronic disease management at the Practice, looking after our patients with diabetes, chronic respiratory problems, and hypertension. 

Susie is also trained to provide advice and treatment for Minor Illness

Sister Sue Toogood

Sue is our Practice Nurse who started working for the Surgery in July 2015.  Sue was previously a District Nurse for the North Cardiff area who has since been developing her skills in all areas of practice nursing including chronic disease management. 

Healthcare Assistants

Caroline Jones

Caroline runs our Tuesday and Friday morning Health Care Support Worker clinic, and our Tuesday afternoon Prediabetic clinic.  She sees patients for warfarin monitoring, ECG's, BP's, and performs the New Patient Health Checks. 

Ruth Leeds

Ruth runs our Wednesday and Thursday morning Health Care Support Worker clinic, for warfarin management, BP checks and phlebotomy.

Phlebotomists

Victoria Trew

Victoria runs the practice phlebotomy clinic on a Friday morning.
