For more information about the approach to rehabilitation arising from the pandemic, both for those who have had the virus and those affected by interruption to normal services and social isolation please see our COVID-19 Rehabilitation Model.
The site will be continually adding further videos and other useful information and advice to help with a persons rehabilitation.
COVID recovery App
A new app has been launched today as part of wider support on offer for people experiencing the longer-term effects of COVID-19.
The COVID Recovery app, available on the App Store for Apple devices or the Google Play Store for those using Android, has been developed by the NHS Wales respiratory health group on behalf of the Welsh Government. It has been designed to offer people a bespoke tool and personal coach to help them on their road to recovery
With more than 100 videos and links to advice, app users will be able to record their symptoms, track their progress and learn to manage their condition at home with support. It includes advice from therapists, psychologists, dietitians and consultants.
The bilingual app is part of a wider national approach to support people with post-COVID syndrome and complements the Keeping Me Well website that the Health Board is continuing to develop to support the population of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan with a range of rehabilitation needs, including as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
